Stop SOPA and PIPA

By • Jan 18th, 2012 • Category: News, ShowBizRadio

Stop SOPAOn Wednesday Jan. 18th thousands of sites will go dark to protest SOPA & PIPA, two US bills racing through Congress that threaten prosperity, online security, and freedom of expression. While ShowBizRadio.net is not going 100% dark for the day, we would like to urge you to contact your members of Congress to let them know your thoughts of those bills. ShowBizRadio has been affected by piracy and copyright infringements in the past. But these bills go too far in trying to address this issue.

Learn about the bills with this video:

More information: Here’s an infographic. And an article about the bills. And an article written by my former employer, the Center for Democracy & Technology. The #stopsopa hashtag on Twitter will be active today. Tons of info at AmericanCensorship.org.
